Coronation Street‘s Leanne Battersby loses her temper in court next week as Rowan Cunliffe goes on trial.
Leanne is unable to keep her composure as she fears that the cruel con artist will walk free despite his crimes.
Rowan is standing trial over allegations of fraud and blackmail after his sinister activities as a leader of The Institute cult.
Leanne is determined to see justice served as she’s furious with Rowan for manipulating her when she was vulnerable earlier this year.

Next week, the trial begins and Leanne, Amy Barlow and Nick Tilsley are each called to give evidence.
Rowan’s defence barrister puts on an impressive performance, sternly cross-examining all three and casting doubt on their claims.
When things seem to be going his way, Rowan shares a smug grin in Leanne’s direction.
Leanne immediately loses her temper and speaks her mind, causing the case to be adjourned. Has she just ruined her chances of seeing Rowan get sent down?

Emrhys Cooper, who played Rowan, returned to filming a couple of months ago to film these scenes.
This is expected to be the final time that viewers see Rowan as his storyline comes to an end.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy recently, Emrhys commented: “He hasn’t quite finished his naughty business yet.
“There might be a little bit more of a twist yet to see, so keep watching and you’ll soon see.”
Asked whether it’s important to see Rowan get his comeuppance, Emrhys replied: “I think so! It’s been so fun playing Rowan. I think he’s caused so much trouble that that would have to happen, right?”
