Kit Green continues to be suspicious of Dee-Dee Bailey amid Joel Deering’s murder in Coronation Street.
Evil solicitor Joel has wreaked havoc in the ITV soap this year, with his true colours emerging after it was seemingly revealed he was involved in the death of Lauren Bolton after physically and mentally abusing her in a secret relationship.
After Lauren returned, she dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant with Joel’s baby, forcing him to lead a double life behind fiance Dee-Dee’s back.
Dee-Dee began to get suspicious of Joel’s behaviour and after some sleuthing, uncovered his secret life which blew their lives apart.

She has continued to support Lauren and baby Frankie as Joel’s body was discovered floating in a river two weeks after he mysteriously disappeared, prompting a murder investigation.
In scenes set to air this week, Kit, who is leading the investigation, continues to be suspicious of Dee-Dee as Joel’s funeral approaches.
Kit listens, utterly unconvinced, as she talks to Joel’s dad Gus about going to the funeral as she believes in forgiveness – but will he get to the bottom of her suspicious behaviour?
Previously, Kit told DS Lisa Swain at the police station that he reckons the Baileys are lying to them and she’s been too quick to believe Dee-Dee is incapable of murder.

And he could be right, as spoilers for upcoming scenes reveal a new clue implicating Ed and Ronnie Bailey is set to be discovered.
Dee-Dee might not be the only one hiding secrets about Joel’s death as Betsy Swain begins to suspect her mother Lisa could be involved.
Betsy learned that Joel was in a fight with a mystery person the day he died and, spotting bruises on her mother, believes she was the assailant.
Lisa claims that she was hurt during a body combat class, but Betsy doesn’t fully believe her and her doubts are furthered when she finds a bottle of painkillers dated the day after Joel’s death.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
