Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street‘s Max Turner and Lauren Bolton are among the suspects in Joel Deering’s murder case next week.
The Weatherfield teenagers face scrutiny over their shifty behaviour following the news that Joel’s body has been found.
Joel recently went missing after failing to appear in court to answer for his crimes. DS Swain confirmed that the case was being treated as a fatality, although Dee-Dee Bailey suspected that her deceitful ex-fiancé was still alive.
Next week, Joel’s body is found in the river and a post-mortem confirms that he was already dead when he entered the water. His demise was caused by two blows to the head inflicted by a heavy weapon, most likely a crowbar.

Amid this stressful situation, there’s better news for Lauren when doctors inform her that her baby son Frankie is finally doing well enough to be discharged from hospital next month.
Lauren’s friend Bobby Crawford promises her that he and Max will do everything they can to help out with Frankie.
Speaking privately with Max, Bobby admits that he’s still in love with Lauren and longs to be her boyfriend.

Later in the week, there’s a potential clue to Joel’s murder when Nick Tilsley questions Lauren on how she mysteriously slept on the sofa at No.8 a few weeks ago.
Bobby then finds Max and Lauren chatting together at the pub. He clearly interrupts something, as Max makes a hasty exit.
