EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders‘ Cindy Beale will make a major decision next week, following Ian’s surprise marriage proposal.
Tonight’s episode (October 8) of EastEnders, which is already available to watch now on BBC iPlayer, sees Ian get down on one knee in the Queen Vic and ask Cindy to marry him, with an under-pressure Cindy agreeing.
In follow-up scenes airing next week, Junior Knight tries to get hold of Cindy after witnessing her and Ian getting engaged, but Cindy dodges his calls.

When Junior decides that he’s had enough and goes over to Beale’s Eels to talk to Cindy, she insists that their secret affair is now over for good and she doesn’t want to see him again.
With Junior left in a terrible mood, he later takes his anger out on Peter Beale after he won’t stop talking about his parents’ engagement.
Junior decides to try to take his mind off Cindy by heading over to the café, where he comes across Priya Nandra-Hart and asks her to join him for a drink.

Later on, in The Vic, Cindy is worried when she sees Junior talking to Ian and realises that Junior is going to play games with her now that their fling is over.
As Junior and Priya’s date gets under way, Priya suddenly ends their drinks when she notices that he isn’t really interested in her – while a smug Cindy watches on.
But Junior isn’t going to let himself be beaten, so he makes a risky move and invites Peter over for a drink, with Cindy soon joining them.
Things quickly take a turn for the worse – is Cindy and Junior’s big secret about to be exposed?

Junior isn’t the only former lover who Cindy is having to contend with at the moment, as David Wicks is also back in Walford and has already shared a heartfelt reunion with Cindy.
Michelle Collins, who plays Cindy, recently spoke about her character’s desire to pursue a relationship with Ian, despite being drawn away from him by other men.
“Cindy does want to settle down and stop this madness that’s going on in her life, and she feels that if she settles down with Ian, she might have the security she’s always longed for,” she said.
“Ian is like a security blanket for her, but who knows how long that’s going to last because Cindy loves danger and adventure, all the things that David Wicks brings.”
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
