Lauren Branning made a dangerous decision on EastEnders as her medication storyline continued.

Lauren recently discovered that she is pregnant with Peter Beale’s baby, though she has been in pain ever since the crush at the club.

This has led to a growing dependency on pain medication, with Tuesday’s (November 26) episode beginning as Peter apologised to Lauren for his recent “over-protectiveness”.

Lauren later met up with Amy, who was dealing with her own struggles. After a candid conversation, the pair agreed to spend the night in as they watched a film together, though it wouldn’t go exactly as planned.

As Lauren went to help Amy, she discovered some pain medication in the closet, with Amy explaining that she had forgotten to take it back to the pharmacist. Lauren offered to return it, but looked nervous as she considered using the medicine for herself.
