EastEnders’ Ruby makes a shock discovery about Martin

EastEnders spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on BBC One.

EastEnders‘ Ruby Allen has made a shock discovery about Martin Fowler in tonight’s (November 27) episode.

Martin recently found out Ruby had secretly had his child and lied about it, as she told him their little boy had been adopted. In reality, Roman is fighting for his life in hospital with autoimmune hepatitis and Martin is planning to fight for full custody.

In the latest instalment, Stacey Slater told Martin he was making a mistake as Ruby was willing to put him on the birth certificate, before storming off when he wouldn’t listen.

Ruby then turned up at Stacey’s, looking to talk and make amends.

“I had no real friends until I met you,” Ruby said as she started to tear up. “I can’t lose [Roman], Stacey. I can’t. He’s all I’ve got.

“I’ve made some mistakes in my life but if I can be a good mum to Roman, then I know I can put that right… I just don’t want to fight with you anymore.”

The duo looked like they were building bridges, but things soured when Ruby overheard Stacey take a call from Martin where she mentioned his custody plan.

Martin turned up at Stacey’s and, while Ruby tried to be civil at first and promised Martin that Roman would be in his life, he told her that he didn’t believe her for a second. Incensed, she told him she wouldn’t even put his name on the birth certificate.

Later on, Stacey tried to convince Martin he needed to make up with Ruby as they’d both be better off bringing the baby up together. Will the parents be able to put their differences aside?

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
