Emmerdale spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (October 24), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Emmerdale has aired a devastating update about Belle King, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Belle was arrested for breaking her bail conditions after she suspected that Tom sent her flowers, and was warned that she would go to prison if she went near him again.
She was seen talking to her late dad Zak, believing that she could hear his voice, and it became clear that Tom was impacting her mental health again.
In today’s episode, Belle was desperate to hear her dad within a number of other voices, and she tried to dig up his grave to get his help.

She was found by Sam and Lydia who supported her, and they all agreed to reach out to the crisis team again about her mental breakdown.
Meanwhile, Tom tried to get his suspension from work lifted, but Rhona advised him to look for another job, regardless of how the police investigation concludes.
He later found out about Belle’s breakdown and used this information to try and persuade Rhona that he is innocent and was right all along.

Tom explained that Rhona couldn’t sack him for no reason, and so he told her he was going to sue her for unfair dismissal, leaving her shocked.
After it was confirmed that Belle was admitted to the secure unit, Sam decided to take matters into his own hands by confronting Tom.
Cain warned him off and stopped him from making the situation worse, but later assured him that Tom would get his comeuppance – they would just need to be patient.

But it looks like there is more suspicion on Tom closer to home, as Nicola has become concerned that Carl is scared of their new houseguest.
Nicola expressed her concerns about her son to Jimmy and explained that he seemed on edge around Tom, speculating that he might not be as innocent as he claims.
Will Nicola expose the truth about Tom?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
