Emmerdale legends Lisa and Zak Dingle have been reunited in a touching funeral scene.
Thursday’s (October 17) emotional episode revolved around members of the Dingle family coming together for Zak’s send-off.
One highlight of the episode was the return of Tina Dingle after 28 years, with Samantha Power taking over the role for a dramatic clash with the rest of the Dingle clan.
However, there were also tender moments for the Dingles as they honoured their patriarch. One such scene took place as Belle reunited Zak and Lisa now that they’ve both passed on.
Viewers may remember that Belle’s abusive husband Tom destroyed Lisa’s urn earlier this year, but Belle was able to preserve a portion of her mother’s ashes.

The whole village came out to pay their respects, including the Dingles’ frequent nemesis PC Mike Swirling. After the funeral, the Dingles gathered in the Woolpack to send Zak off in style.
Tina’s arrival made the graveside service for a Zak much more uncomfortable, yet Marlon Dingle soldiered on with his poignant eulogy.
“He was a loving husband, grandad, brother, uncle, and dad, and he’ll be really missed,” Marlon said of Zak.
Noah brought along an old-school boombox to play Zak’s favourite mixtape, which featured ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’ by Status Quo, ‘Devil Woman’ by Sir Cliff Richard, ‘Ring of Fire’ by Johnny Cash, and other classics.
The soap then cut between various members of the family getting their moment to say goodbye to Zak. Some struggled to make it through, including Cain walking off because he couldn’t take the heartbreak.

When it came time for Belle’s moment at the grave, she had a realisation and dashed off back to Wishing Well.
“This is wrong, this is all wrong,” Belle told her family.
Belle went home to find Lisa’s remaining ashes, then returned to the grave to bury them along with Zak.
“This is so you and Mum can be together forever,” Belle said. “I hope I see you both again. Rest in peace.”
The episode finished dramatically as Tina threatened that she’d take Wishing Well, only to find out Zak had already left the home to Sam, Belle and Cain in his will.
Tina was then carted off by police for breaking the terms of her prison release, after the family discovered she was wearing an ankle tag. Will Tina return for revenge?
