Mandy Dingle has been forced to betray her family due to a blackmail threat from Tina in Emmerdale.
Mandy was the one who inadvertently brought vengeful Tina back to the village for Zak Dingle’s funeral last week, though she had no idea Tina was planning to go after Wishing Well Cottage.
Tina was irate to learn Zak had seemingly left his property to Belle, Cain and Sam Dingle in his will, thus cutting her out of ownership of the family farm.
However, Tina has been scheming to take back control by threatening to reveal that she’s Vinny Dingle’s biological mother. Vinny has long known Mandy wasn’t his biological mum but still has no idea about his connection to Tina.
Thursday’s (October 24) hour-long episode saw Tina pressuring Mandy to get her a copy of Zak’s will to prove whether or not she was included in it.

Mandy was resistant as she didn’t want to go against the family, but ultimately felt she had no choice when Tina threatened to reveal the truth about Vinny’s parentage.
Tina accused Mandy of cutting her out of Vinny’s life, claiming her relative once said she “never deserved to be a mother”. Mandy knew the villain was lying, though Tina warned her Vinny would believe those lies.
“You better get your grubby little paws on dad’s will,” Tina demanded. “Maybe, just maybe, I might keep your dirty little secret.”
In a later scene, Mandy let herself into Wishing Well to rummage around for a copy of the will. After nearly being caught out, Mandy stole the document just before Vinny returned home.
Mandy pretended nothing was out of the ordinary, but nearly broke down as she assured Vinny their family was “the most important” thing in their lives.
Once Vinny went upstairs, Mandy placed a frantic phone call to Tina to report that she’d stolen the will, as promised.
“You better keep to your side of the bargain,” Mandy demanded.
