Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb has responded to Ross Barton’s return to the soap.
Actor Michael Parr was recently confirmed to be making a comeback, and the Moira actor is delighted to have her on-screen nephew back on set.
“I love Mikey… he’ll kill me for calling him that!” she told Radio Times. “We’ve kept in touch over the six years since he left, and I’m thrilled he’s back.

“I enjoy the continuity of seeing those familiar faces again. He looks exactly the same and hasn’t aged a bit, how dare he!”
Moira is going through a desperate time at the moment, following the recent diagnosis of her brain tumour. Natalie wouldn’t be drawn on whether Ross will be a source of support for her or not, but stated that things were always going to be tense due to their shared history.
“Well, Moira did kill his mother, remember!” she explained. “Ross is back with a bang, of course, and is going to cause some trouble, like he always does.”
Whether Ross steps up to help her or not, Natalie said that Cain will be there for her, as difficult as it might be.

“Cain will hit rock bottom, but will have to find the strength to support Moira,” the actor added. “The beauty with them is they know each other so well.
“Just as we saw with Moira’s daughter Holly and her drug addiction, it’s not just one person on this roller coaster ride – it’s very much about how this affects the whole family.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
