Emmerdale spoilers follow.
In tonight’s (Tuesday, October 22) episode of Emmerdale, Caleb Miligan gave Jimmy King the paperwork to sign over his shares of the haulage company but Jimmy said he needed to read over the small print first.
An impatient Caleb told him it was a good deal. “You’re also clearing your debt and setting yourself up for the future,” he said, adding that he was doing him a favour.
“You’re also taking advantage of my misfortune,” Jimmy said, telling Caleb he’d sign it later.

Chas Dingle confronted Caleb about blackmailing Ruby Fox-Miligan’s mother Helen before she died. He asked Ruby to hear him out, and explained that the money was for their future and the least she deserved.
“When did she ever give you something out of the goodness of her heart?” he asked. “As soon as Jimmy signs it over, we’ll be richer than you ever can imagine.”
After he revealed that her parents once tried to pay him off to stay away from her, she forgave him.

Meanwhile, Jimmy asked Will Taylor to check the contract, who said it all looked above board and would solve his money worries.
“It saves me from bankruptcy but it’s a big price to pay,” he said before signing the paperwork.
However, when Caleb came back later to seal the deal, Jimmy handed him an envelope with the shredded contract inside. He told Caleb he knew about the five-year deal he had set up with the new depot, which would save him from bankruptcy. “I won’t be taken for a mug,” he said.
Caleb threatened to cancel the deal, but Jimmy laughed and said it was too late.

Caleb later accused Ruby of ruining the deal before realising it was actually Will. Ruby was angry and told him to get out.
At The Woolpack, he confronted Will and told him he had just lost a job. Will explained he couldn’t do it to Jimmy, only to have Jimmy tell him that their friendship was over.
Elsewhere, Belle Dingle received roses and was convinced they were from Tom King. He denied it and accused her of being troubled. “Do you want to end up back in the secure unit?” he asked. Later, he made a phone call to report her for a bail infringement.
