Anna came to the hospital to check on Laura and offered to keep her company during the surgery. Laura thanked Anna for bringing Lucky home. Anna told Laura how determined Lucky was to be Lulu’s donor. Anna mentioned how impressed she had been with Lucky and how he kept a cool head during a crisis. “He’s a Spencer,” Laura said with a smile.
Cyrus interrupted and asked Laura if he could pray for Lulu. Anna stepped away while Cyrus led a prayer with Laura. Afterward, Laura asked Cyrus to call first next time and said she didn’t want him to make any more surprise visits.
After Cyrus left, Anna rejoined Laura. Laura asked if Anna had heard from Valentin, but Anna had not. Laura said that Charlotte should know what is happening and should be there. Laura said it wasn’t good for Charlotte to live on the run. “The more I think about it, the more angry I am at Valentin that he took her,” Laura lamented. Anna promised to find Valentine and bring Charlotte back to her family.
Outside Pentonville, Heather felt blessed to see Steven and Elizabeth. Liz hugged her brother. Heather thought it was ironic that she and Steven were getting out of prison at the same time, but he admitted that he had been out for a few months already. Heather wondered why he hadn’t told her, and he reminded her that they hadn’t contacted one another for a long time. Liz had to return to work, but Heather knew exactly where she wanted to go with Steven.

Steven and Heather went to Bobbi’s for BLTs. They talked about what it was like to be released and free to get on with their lives. Heather told Steven that Liz would put them up for a short time, but soon Heather would be rolling in dough, and she said they could get a big house. Steven told Heather he couldn’t stay in Port Charles as he had a job and a new life in Sedona. “You’re not staying?” Heather asked. “No, but neither are you,” Steve said.
Steven wanted Heather to have a whole new start in Sedona with him, but she said she didn’t like turquoise. Steven told Heather that families stick together, but Heather explained that was exactly why she couldn’t leave. Heather wanted to be there for Ace and see his first day at school and other milestones.
Steven told Heather that was years away. Heather noted that the judge gave her freedom because she wasn’t responsible for her actions. Steven corrected Heather and said she was still the one who had done the actions. He convinced Heather to leave her past behind and get on with her life. “Focus on who you are and not what you did,” Steven told his mom. Heather thought it made sense and agreed to move to Sedona and stay with Steven. “There are things I should do here first, though,” Heather said.
Sasha came to Robert’s office, and he handed her an envelope with the paternity results. He said he didn’t open it so she would know it hadn’t been tampered with. Sasha opened the envelope and read the report. She was in disbelief that it confirmed that Robert was her father and thought Holly must have altered the results. Robert assured her the results were correct but offered to do another test if she wanted.
Sasha was stunned and said that she had believed her whole life that her father was dead. Robert explained that when she was born, everyone thought he was dead, so technically, Holly hadn’t lied back then. Sasha noted Holly knew years ago that he was alive and never told her the truth. Robert suggested Holly had her reasons, even if they weren’t good ones. He said it was better to find out late than never.
Sasha reeled at the thought that she and Cody were first cousins and got upset. She apologized for not seeming more excited about finding Robert but realized it meant she was losing Cody. Robert understood it was upsetting news. He told her that for what it was worth, he was feeling lucky. Robert told Sasha that he would like to get to know her but that it was up to her how to proceed. Sasha told Robert he had been very kind, but she had to go.
Diane met with Alexis at the hospital so that Alexis could be near Sam but also distracted while waiting for the operation to be over. Alexis told Diane how Molly and Kristina argued, and Sam left because their behavior was toxic. Alexis noted that Ric was making everything worse by defending Ava.
Diane was devastated when Alexis told her that Ric had Heather’s sentence vacated and she was being released from prison that day. Alexis brought Diane up-to-date about Kristina’s scene with Ric and Ava at the restaurant. Diane agreed that Ric would use it against Kristina in court but knew Alexis would have Kristina well-prepared to take the stand. Alexis asked Diane what was happening in her life.
Diane told Alexis Robert confirmed he had no romantic feelings towards Holly, so Diane didn’t care that Holly was in town. Diane was sure she and Robert would still be going strong long after Holly left Port Charles. Diane noted that she saw Holly with Sonny, which surprised Alexis. Alexis didn’t realize that Sonny and Holly knew one another. She hoped Sonny had enough sense to say no to whatever Holly was scheming.
Nina was on a business call in her office when Sasha came in. Nina could tell Sasha was upset and got off the phone. Sasha confessed that she had been lying to Nina for a long time. “I told you my mother was dead, but the truth is, I only wished she was,” Sasha blurted out. Sasha was surprised that Nina didn’t hate her. “If I could get past you claiming to be her daughter, I can get past this,” Nina explained.
Nina wondered why Sasha was confessing now. Sasha told Nina that her mom was back in Port Charles and that she was Holly Sutton. Sasha added that a DNA test had just confirmed that Robert was her father and Cody was her first cousin.
Sasha wondered if this was all karmic payback for pretending to be Nina’s daughter. Nina said she had done worse, but they had both changed. Nina said Sasha was avoiding telling Cody the truth. Sasha thought it would be awful to tell him. Nina agreed it would be tough, but putting off telling Cody made it harder.
Anna found Alexis in the hospital and asked if she had heard from Valentin, but Alexis had not. Anna explained that she was trying to find him for Laura. Alexis said she would check Cassadine Holdings as soon as possible and see if she could find out something. “I think Laura is right. It’s time for Charlotte to come home,” Alexis agreed.
Diane came to Robert’s office and asked how he was doing. “I feel like I’ve been kicked in the gut by a ‘roo,” Robert said. Robert revealed that Sasha Corbin was his daughter. “She thought her father was dead. Her mother just recently said that is not the case,” Robert explained. Diane wondered who Sasha’s mother was. Robert admitted it was Holly.
Cody came into the stables as Holly came downstairs. She admitted she had poked her head in his room, looking to see if he was home. Holly told Cody they had something in common: the Ice Princess necklace. “What do you know about that?” Cody asked. “I’m the one who stole it,” Holly told him.
Cody noted that the thief was tracked to a cabin, and there had been an explosion. “You look good for a crispy critter,” Cody said. Holly said the diamonds were far more trouble than they were worth but didn’t know if they were gone.
Holly asked how Cody could be satisfied as the Quartermaine’s stable boy. She said she could make his dreams come true and told him about a poker game that was a sure thing with a millionaire. Holly told Cody she recognized him as a kindred spirit and thought they would make a good team. She said the poker game was a two-person job. They talked about how they would split the winnings, but Cody balked.
Cody said his life had changed, and thanks to an amazing woman and finding out that Mac was his father, he had everything he needed in Port Charles. Holly admitted she knew Mac and agreed he was a great guy. “I’ve disappointed him one too many times already and don’t want to again,” Cody said. Holly told Cody that Mac would never need to know and said the job would take a month. Cody didn’t want to lie to Mac or anyone else and said it was a hard pass.
Holly reminded Cody he was walking away from over a million dollars. “I hope she’s worth it,” Holly added. Cody said Sasha was worth everything as she appeared at the door. “What are you doing here?” Sasha said to Holly. Sasha ordered Holly to get out, and she did. Cody noted that clearly Sasha knew Holly and asked to be filled in. “That woman was my mother, and something is very, very wrong,” Sasha said.
At the nurses’ station, Elizabeth told Terry how Steven showed up at Pentonville. Liz noted that Heather wanted to get a BLT, and Steven wanted to talk to Heather alone. Liz said she doubted Steven would stay in Port Charles as he had made a new life in Sedona. “Seeing him today, I got the feeling he was here to fix things,” Liz noted. Liz was relieved that Steven was in town so that he could deal with Heather. “What about when he leaves?” Terry asked.
Steven and Heather found Elizabeth at the hospital. “Welcome back to General Hospital. I still can’t believe you’re here,” Liz said. Heather told Liz that they weren’t staying long and that they had exciting news. Heather told Liz not to take it personally, but she wasn’t going to stay with her after all. “My son is taking me with him to Sedona,” Heather announced. She told Liz they were there to say goodbye. Before Liz could react, Laura walked off the elevator, and Heather ran over to hug her.
