Hollyoaks’ Frankie Osborne is to confront her twin brother JJ, as his condition continues to worsen next week.
Last month, JJ’s plea hearing for his sexual abuse of his sister was interrupted when he collapsed outside court.
JJ was diagnosed with leukaemia, which made the situation a lot more complicated for Darren – who has had to try and support both his children at once.

This week’s episodes will see JJ receive important test results regarding his treatment, before which Darren will give his son some home truths.
In scenes that will air next week, Darren and Jack arrive at the hospital to find out whether Darren is a match with JJ’s bone marrow – but they are shocked to find that he has disappeared from his bed.
Meanwhile, Nancy tells Frankie and Vicky that JJ isn’t responding to his chemotherapy treatment, and that Darren is a potential match for his bone marrow.

She rushes suddenly to take an urgent call, and Frankie is left concerned that she might be asked to be a bone marrow donor for JJ, though Vicky reassures her that she wouldn’t be forced to.
An increasingly unwell JJ hides from his fate at the hospital by returning to the village, and he leaves a note for Frankie at Price Slice.
He is spotted by Mercedes who is concerned that he is out of hospital, but when she tries to talk to him, he suddenly collapses.

Nancy calls for an ambulance, and JJ is taken to the hospital, where Darren is told by Peri that his son has pneumonia.
Elsewhere, Vicky is worried about Frankie, and she tells Dillon that she needs to find a way to help her friend, who is distraught about the situation.
Darren is upset and he talks to Frankie outside the hospital, asking her to understand his predicament. He explains that while he hasn’t taken JJ’s side, he also can’t abandon him at this difficult time.

Frankie and JJ also have a conversation, and she uses this opportunity to confront her brother and ask him for the truth about why he abused her.

Lucas comes round and Frankie talks to him candidly about JJ. Will Lucas be able to help?
