Hollyoaks has confirmed flashbacks involving Sienna Blake and Ethan Williams, as their dramatic wedding unfolds.
After the time jump, it was revealed that exes Sienna and Ethan had got back together and were engaged to be married.
But the lead-up to their wedding hasn’t been straightforward, as Vicky still holds a torch for her former flame.

Vicky’s partner Robbie has found out about her feelings, and in this Wednesday’s episode (October 2), Vicky will let Ethan know that she isn’t giving up on him.
In scenes that will air next week, Sienna and Ethan’s big day arrives, and Sienna is busy practising her wedding vows.
After the events of the joint stag and hen do, Ethan wakes up in the allotment. He isn’t in a state to get hitched, but thankfully Maxine whips him into shape.

In the last year, there have been some big changes for the Blake family, with the reveal that Sienna’s dad is actually Patrick’s twin brother Jeremy.
The pair have formed a close bond, and Jez is touched when Sienna asks him to walk her down the aisle – albeit not in his signature dungarees.
But elsewhere, Vicky continues to try to make Ethan have second thoughts, saying that their history means he shouldn’t be getting married to Sienna.

She pleads with him to give their relationship another go, but Vicky might not be successful, as the wedding still goes ahead.
At the altar, Ethan and Sienna make their commitments to one another, and Ethan gets emotional while reading out his moving vows.
There is a happy atmosphere as the newly married couple exit the venue, and John Paul ends up catching the bouquet, which was put together by Jez.
However, things go wrong, and there is a big fallout amongst the wedding guests as Sienna and Vicky clash over Ethan.

While Sienna is acting oddly, Frankie suggests to Vicky that she speaks to a counsellor, and makes her friend promise not to keep secrets from her again – though quite what she has been hiding is yet to be revealed.
Later, Maxine finds a video from Christmas of Ethan filming Sienna crafting. Viewers will then see a flashback from the missing year, which will reveal a lot about the couple’s relationship.
Anna Passey recently told Digital Spy that this new information will leave the audience “a bit more conflicted about the relationship”. But just what will the flashbacks show?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
