Neighbours legend gets upsetting news in Holly Hoyland story

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours favourite Karl Kennedy feels harshly judged next week as his daughter Holly Hoyland receives some professional insight into her recent traumas.

The Erinsborough doctor is alarmed when an official report links some of Holly’s problems to issues which date back to her childhood.

Holly has been struggling with PTSD after being held at gunpoint in a hostage situation at The Waterhole last month.

This appeared to be the final straw for Holly after a series of frightening incidents over the past 12 months, including her doomed fling with Eden Shaw, being held captive by Dr Bowman and being hunted down in the Outback by ruthless villain Heath Royce.

Next week, Holly undergoes a psychological assessment which is linked to the criminal charges she’s facing over Heath’s stolen money.

Holly doesn’t cope well with the intensive questioning, so Karl and Susan fret in private over how she’ll cope if she receives a prison sentence.

Later, Holly receives her psychological assessment report and is surprised when the document claims she’s a traumatised person due to her troubled childhood.

Karl decides to take a look for himself and he’s alarmed by the insinuation that Holly didn’t have parental love or support from him and Izzy when she was growing up.

Susan offers Holly the chance to talk through the report, but Holly refuses to confide in her family.

Instead, Holly seeks out her new confidant Felix Rodwell for a chat and they end up falling asleep together at The 82.

When Karl finds the unlikely pair curled up together, he demands to know what’s going on. How will they respond?
